Compare ALTER vs Gleeden Looking for a Gleeden alternative?
Gleeden built its name on putting women first. ALTER shares that instinct: women decide who reaches them, and nobody messages anyone uninvited. Where it differs is how far it takes privacy and proof, with every member verified by a live selfie and a human review, every photo blurred until you grant access, and messages that vanish within the hour.

Women first, in practice.
Gleeden's promise is that women are the priority. On ALTER, that promise lives in the mechanics. Men can't message a woman until she accepts their request. Requests wait in her Lounge, where she accepts or ignores them in her own time. Invisible Mode, Screenshot Block and Anti-Harassment filters are on before anyone sees her profile.

Proof, not promises.
Every ALTER member passes a live selfie check that proves a real person is holding the phone, then a human review, usually within 48 hours, before anyone can see their profile. ALTER doesn't run bots or paid profiles, and only verified members can message anyone.
Blurred, locked, gone in an hour.
Every photo on ALTER starts blurred, and you decide who sees the clear version and for how long. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, screenshot-blocked and vanish within an hour. The app opens only with your PIN or fingerprint and locks the moment you switch away. You appear under an alias, never your real name.
Where Gleeden is ahead.
Gleeden has been running since 2009, has millions of members and works on the web as well as on phones. ALTER is new, smaller and app-only: Android now, iPhone soon. If the size of the crowd matters most to you, that's a real difference.
If you want everyone checked by a person, every photo blurred until you say otherwise and nothing left behind after a conversation, ALTER was built for that.
Questions, asked quietly.

Both are discreet dating apps for people in relationships that put women in control. ALTER adds a live selfie check and a human review for every member, photos blurred by default, and messages that vanish within the hour.
ALTER is free to download. Plans for messaging are offered inside the app.
On the website, Leave quietly (or pressing Escape three times) replaces the page with a weather forecast and takes it out of your back button. In the app, ALTER locks itself the moment you switch away and opens only with your PIN or fingerprint.
ALTER doesn't create profiles, run bots or pay hosts to chat. Every profile belongs to a real person who passed a live selfie check and a human review. If you ever suspect one slipped through, report it and our team will look into it.
It's on the way. ALTER is available now on Google Play; join the iPhone waitlist and you'll hear first when it ships.
